I am being water baptized on Saturday! I know its weird to some but I am so excited. This does not mean I am a bible thumper. It means I am just dedicating my purpose. Some will understand and some wont. But I do! So let me have it guys what do u think?
I really want to know.

Good for you Tabitha, I think thats great. When Marty and I were baptised it was a big turning point for us to dedicate our lives to following God. We have several friends that were tripped out by it all, but it really doesn't matter. The bible really puts an emphasis on getting baptised as a part of being saved and turning our lives over to God, and thats all that really matters.

I am so happy to hear u say that. My understanding is what it is but I am ready and I am so excited.I wonder how my friends will take it....... but "my friends" will still be my friends or they wont. It's probably shocking to some and it will just be gossip to others but I dont really care. It's me. Thanks for your support.
Congrats Tab....you made a good choice here...although any choice that takes you one step closer to the "good side of life" is a good choice. My minister when I was Baptised (sp) repeated the Golden Rule twice. He made it clear to me and the congregation that Baptismal does not mean you are free to heaven...it means you have agreed to wash away your sins and live a life that is productive healthy and accepts all others without Judgement. Do unto others as you would have done unto you. Wish I could be there at your side to witness your moment of acceptance...I will say a prayer that my angels find you at that moment and let you know there is a friend out here who accepts you for you...Tab!!(althugh thank God there is only one of you!)
on the last sunday of the monthI am being water baptized I was only baptised in the spirit BUt it was so great I thought I would explode with happiness i just cant explain it.
