Neighbor Girls

We have these 2 sweet little girls that live next door. Everyday they come over stay for dinner and go home before bed. Do their parents not want to see them? Do they not like their moms cook'n? Would it be fair to ask for grocery money???
Dont get me wrong we love them and they are always welcome but is it ever our turn? My husband was home with the kids tonight and the mom called and asked if he would watch them while they went to Eagle River. OK he said yes, but ,,, they dont know him!
Then they where like an hour late.
